It is recommended to replace regular towels every year. Towels worn out quickly, lose their absorbency, can accumulate bacteria and acquire an unpleasant odor. If a towel becomes rough or does not dry well, this is a sign that it is time to replace it.

Regular towels are the most common breeding grounds for Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. They are caused by humidity, heat and limited ventilation - especially if the towel remains damp for a long time. Such a medium is ideal for the proliferation of microflora.

They can cause skin irritation, itching, rashes, or even infections – especially if the skin is sensitive or has microcracks. In addition, prolonged contact with such towels can weaken the skin's protective barrier, which increases sensitivity to other substances or allergens.
